feral trade krap |
from Ribarstvo Rijeka Crnojevica, Montenegro | Canned fish in oil from Rijeka Crnojevica, a small village on the bank of Skadarsko Lake in
Montenegro. Once a thriving market centre it was thrown to the fringes
of Montenegro a few decades ago, following construction of a
road diversion. Its 200 inhabitants are almost all employed by the fish cannery. Krap is a special sort of carp, endemic to Skadarsko Lake, here served traditionally smoked.
ferally traded since: 05/07/10.
